Hunt Club

Hunt Club is an  online boutique I opened in March 2014 to sell the equestrian-related wares I design. The products for sale include designer charms for clothing and equipment, custom graphic T-shirts, belts, jewelry and more. The website is hosted on Storenvy.com and was created using their online purchasing tools. I personally manage every aspect of the business, from the ideation of new graphics and products to the packaging and shipping of each and every order. I design all of the products I sell - everything from the graphic T-shirts to the packaging for the charms and jewelry items.

I also craft all of the marketing materials used to promote Hunt Club - everything from product photos for social media posts to print ads in national equestrian magazines such as The Plaid Horse.  To date, Hunt Club has attended numerous horse shows as a vendor, donated prizes and products to a wide variety of equestrian organzations (OPHA, WPAPHA, and others) and was an official sponsor of the prestigious Devon Horse Show in 2015.

The store is doing extremely well, generating revenue with upwards of 5,000 page views per week. To date, Hunt Club has shipped orders to almost all 50 states, Canada, the United Kingdom, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Germany and Portugal. Social media marketing through Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, in addition to print ads in various equestrian magazines and a brand ambassador program play vital roles in promoting interest in the store and Hunt Club as a company. Looking forward to continued success in the future as I continue to grow the business.

Approach.io

Approach was created during the Fall 2013 PennApps Hackathon at the University of Pennsylvania as a painfully simple way to build beautiful landing pages and connect fledgling companies to technology junkies. Designed to be an improvement over sites like LaunchRock, Approach incorporates the community of a active participants with the traditional launch page experience. In an Etsy-like fashion, interested parties are able to browse new companies before they launch, sign up for email updates, and get in on the ground for for new and exciting startup initiatives.

I worked to design and  construct the identity and branding of Approach - created the site logo, crafted icons and designed test logos for example pages within the site. I also wrote the HTML & CSS for template pages to provide filler content on the site and produced the "app tour" video which was used to select the winners at this particular Hackathon.

Dropsite.me

Dropsite is a Dropbox based service that allows users to quickly build websites and blogs simply by dragging text and image filed into their Dropbox folders on their desktop. Dropsite was designed, coded and illustrated during the TartanHacks 2013 hackathon, and won an award in the "Best Dropbox Hack" category.

I designed and generated the branding and identity of Dropsite, illustrated the graphics-centered homepage and coded templates for the test sites.

The Hackers

The Hackers is a hackathon simulation game on the Facebook App Market that was created during the 2012 Facebook World Hackathon Finals in Palo Alto, California. In game, players manage their team of 'hackers' to complete their 'project' by assigning them to various tasks. Each hacker has a different area of expertise; either design, programming or business, as well as different traits that make them work better or worse with others when placed on tasks.

By matching hackers to the right type of tasks as they appear, they will go to work and reveal new tasks to be completed. Hackers lose energy as they work or become idle when not assigned to tasks, creating the need for constant management and interaction on the part of the player. I developed the branding and identity of The Hackers game, crafted the character illustrations, backdrop and clickable items, as well as aided in designing the overall mechanics of the game.

BarGee Farms

BarGee Farms is a full service hunter/jumper equestrian facility located north of Pittsburgh in Allison Park, PA. As an avid equestrian, I have been boarding my horses at BarGee for some time and stepped up to the role as Social and Online Media manager in 2010.

To set the farm apart from others in the area, I established the branding and identity of BarGee and worked with the farm to deploy its new website revamp via Wordpress. I supplied the photographs of the farm, wrote all of the copy, and produced various design elements such as the show schedule list and homepage sliders. I currently curate the site for BarGee Farms and also manage its social media presence on Facebook. Both the farm's following and client list have grown significantly since the institution of the new website and the further development of it's social media channels.

Logo work

I have done quite of bit of miscellaneous branding and identity work for various events, startups and hackathon projects. Check out the slideshow below for a taste of some of the logos I've created and the work I've done.
